123D Design is a free, powerful, yet simple 3D creation and editing tool which supports many new 3D printers. A clean installer for version R2.1.11 of Autodesk 123D Design obtained from Amazon's Software Library while it was still being hosted. If that works, use the 'change default' option to make it permanent for this app. As mentioned in the intro chapter, 123D Design lays somewhere between Tinkercad and Fusion 360 in terms of complexity, features and power, arguably a bit closer to Fusion.
